Building a smart abacus to help students master foundational math skills

Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, AbacusPlus is developing a hands-on math tool for ages 5-10. It is designed to help teachers, tutors, and homeschooling parents bridge the gap in early childhood math. Kids move real beads on the abacus and get instant visual, audio, and haptic feedback. This keeps lessons engaging and more accessible for different learners. The device is patent pending and still in early prototyping. It’s not yet cleared for testing with children. Sign up below to follow the project.
